Our ultimate goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Salon 501 & Boutique. If you receive an item you are dissatisfied with you may return it to the store for a store credit based on the following guidelines:
Forms of payment:
We accept Cash; and Checks, Credit Cards and Debit Cards with proper ID.
All returned checks will incur a $25. processing fee.
Your original receipt is required for all returns and exchanges.
All returns and exchanges must be in original condition and include all accessories.
14-day return period for exchanges or store credit.
We accept returns for an exchange or store credit for up to 14 days from the date of the original purchase.
No returns after 14 days.

Layaways must be $50. or more.
Low Bi-weekly Payments.
Cancellation – If account is canceled, items will be returned to inventory. Down payment and payments made will be refunded to a store credit , less a $10 cancellation fee.
All layaways must be closed out within 90 days.
Delinquent accounts (30 days of none payment) will be cancelled.
Final payment and pickup must be made on or before December 15 or order will be cancelled.

All special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit.
All special orders placed during a sale event must be paid in full at the time of the sale in order to receive the sale pricing.
All special order sales are final.
All special orders must be picked up within 90 days.

We ship products via UPS Ground and the US Postal Service.

* Orders usually ship within two business days after being placed.
* We do not ship orders to USPS or private mailbox centers.
* We will require a signature for delivery at our discretion. If an order is placed with shipping address differing from the billing address, the shipping costs are excessive, or the order total is high, you can expect to have to sign for receipt. UPS will attempt three deliveries, or hold shipments at their local distribution center if you need to make other arrangements.
Please note that we do not ship outside of the continental 48 United States at this time due to prior experience. We apologize in advance, but this is currently our policy.
Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. . The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order.
Online Store Return Policy:
Salon 501 & Boutique stands behind our merchandise. If you do need to return an item, please return the item in the original packaging by the parcel carrier of your choice. Make sure you retain tracking information. Please include a copy of the receipt.
Unopened items in their original packaging in good condition, damaged or defective merchandise, and mis-shipped items are eligible for full refund or credit.
Refused delivery: We treat refused packages as returns. Your refund will have the return shipping charges deducted.
Please keep a copy of all information until you have received your refund or replacement item(s).

We do not price match. We do not give out "rain checks", however we always honor prices on back-ordered items.
Due to fluctuations in our inventory and product availability from our distributors, prices and shipping charges are subject to change at any time.
We work hard to keep the information on our website up to date, especially when items are either in limited supply, special order only, or currently back-ordered with our suppliers. If you find any errors on our website, please contact us.
You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
